JEAN MICHEL BERNARD
Jean-Michel Bernard (born 1961) is a pianist & composer of film music. Bernard began playing the piano at only 2 years old, & won his first prize at the Paris Conservatoire at the age of 14. At age 19, Bernard recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London. In 2000, Bernard met director Michel Gundry & composed the score for his film Human Nature. Bernard is still the resident composer for Gundry. Bernard has won several awards, including the Price Music France / UCMF 2007 Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Music for The Science of Sleep.
