SAL SOLO Sal Solo is a singer & contemporary classical composer. Formally the lead singer of British band Classix Nouveaux, Solo toured internationally throughout the 1980s before leaving the band to pursue a solo career. In 1984 he reached the UK Top 20 with San Damiano, which was later re-recorded by British classical singer Aled Jones for his 2003 album, ‘Higher’.
